Directions for use

• For therapeutic use – to boost male sexual function:

3 capsules each time, 3 times a day, taken with warm water

 Male Power was developed after more than a decade of scientific research and clinical trials at the Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Beijing by a team headed by Professor Xiao-cheng Yan and Professor Jia-li Yuan, now of the Australia Vita Herb Co. in Sydney, Australia.

Basing their experiments on knowledge of Chinese herbal medicine handed down over centuries, they tested almost 100 herbs to produce the optimum combination that became Male Power.

In the clinical trials, 152 patients with sexual dysfunction problems, aged between 25 and 76, were tested. Male Power proved effective in 89 per cent of cases.

Male Power has been used at hospitals in China for more than 10 years and at Australia Vita Herb Co. in Sydney for five years. Tens of thousands of patients in China have been helped in that time.

Research showed that most patients with sexual dysfunction suffer from poor kidney function – in traditional Chinese medical terms, lack of kidney yang. According to traditional Chinese medical theory, the kidneys store the pre-natal essence inherited from one’s parents, which governs growth, development and, in later life, reproduction. If a man’s kidneys are strong, he can produce a powerful erection. If the kidneys are weak, sexual dysfunction is one obvious result. Weak kidneys are traditionally considered a cause of hormonal imbalance. In contrast to drugs containing sex hormones that are used to stimulate the body for a short time, Male Power is a gentle tonic that produces long-lasting results.     Ingredients   Each capsule contains herbal extracts equivalent to dry: Epimedium brevicornum leaf 450 mg   Panax ginseng root 60 mg   Cordyceps sinensis 45 mg   Cnidium monnieri seed 420mg   mgMorinda officinalis root 160 mg     Paeonia lactiflora (radix rubra) root 660 mg   Curculigo orchoides root & rhiz 302 mg   Cistanche deserticola stem 144 mg       Panax ginseng tonifies energy and blood to bolster general well-being. Paeonia lactiflora (from the root of the red peony) helps dilate blood vessels and invigorates the blood so that it moves more easily, thus boosting erectile function. All the other herbs are recorded in traditional Chinese medicine as helping overcome sexual dysfunction by tonifying kidney yang, producing many benefits. Combined, they boost energy generally. Epimedium brevicornum, for instance, has traditionally been used where kidney yang deficiency causes not only sexual dysfunction but also frequent urination. Its effectiveness in helping sexual dysfunction has long been known and is reflected in its literal English translation, ‘licentious goat wort’. In the Chinese Herbal Medicine Materia Medica*, a fifth century writer is quoted as saying: ‘Taking this herb makes people want to yin-yang.
